    Found a pair of tyres at the yard banged then in the blade and got out today 70 ish miles with race shift . Wrists thumb feels fine nice little tootle out

    So how did you find race shift ? Was it bucking bronco stuff ?:D

    To be honest mate it was fine but not really pushing it so had more time to think only time i got a bit confused was when a stupid taxi pulled out on me then i had to try change down quick and grab first again to pull off. I keep thinking head down change down head up change up ,

    wasn't too bad I'm gonna get out more and just keep drumming it in

    everyone thinks that changing to race shift is tough, but after the first 10 shifts you don't really have to think too much about it, and like you say wedgie, the head down, shift down though works great, wait till you use it on track mate, you'll love it on the long fast right hand turns when you can do an easy up shift!

    It does feel more natural buddy when clicking up the gears well down ha ha
