Well, was considering taking the bike out if it was half decent today, but got stuck behind a gritter on the way home last night which was spreading grit at a rate of 40kg per square metre:angry:
Guess that's definitely that for this year then:Cry: Cars are frozen solid this morning up here and worst of all, the wife is fiddling with the central heating controls.
Don't think things can get any worse :(

No, you've just made it worse :(. Oh my god, the wifes found the manual for the heating controls now, it's all going horribly wrong. Is it to early for a drink on a Sunday?

Hi Milky / All, Saturday Completed a 43 mile round trip for a KFC, Toped up with petrol, changed the oil, cleaned and adj the chain and then sprayed with Duck oil, guessing it will be my last time out until March. Managed to change the oil (not Filter) with out removing any plastic.

Today there was a frost, planing to do the same with my CB1300 (no KFC).

    Rob.

P.S Central heating went on as well, can I pipe this to the shed.

You boys make me laugh!! Yes I know we are lucky with the weather here, and I too don't like my bike getting wrecked by the salt, but never give up!!! Always live in hope there is going to be a dry crisp spell where you can wheel the bike out for a winter blast!!

I love them personally, like a bonus day out on the bike.

I'm about to do a run out so that my engine is revving at 10:30 for the Marco send off. As it is now November I shall be deploying my winter riding protocol and doing the zip on my leathers up a further 50 mm.

    I'm very strict about that.

My winter protocol is 4 t shirts, leathers, cold killer jacket, glove liners, gloves, proper fluffy long sock on under my sidi's, necktube/cold killers balaclava, and lid ... even then I dont like it :D

Just back from a quick wazz around the block sort of, down the A380 and over the Haldon escarpment down into Teignmouth and I have to say, as you come over the top of Break Neck hill with Teignmouth spread out about 1500 ft below with a low sun turning the sea into silver foil, it was well worth the cold hands.

This road will stay my 'blow off steam' half hour blat until the Tarmac gets constantly wet, when around the golf course just outside the town, it's a bastard.
