I'd swing towards custom, if it was a properly finished bike... for example I'd love a turbo Hayabusa with extended swingarm, custom paint and chrome wheels. But I can't afford that so stick to race reps for the time being ha ha
I did see a seller on eBay selling fairings, Chinese obviously, but they had all the race reps, IIRC the fairings were some clever process where the colours were part of the moulding process and not a paint job with clearcoat. They also said that they could produce any custom design into a fairing that you wanted, all you had to do was send the picture or whatever you wanted as the design by email and they would make it fit the fairings... I think the prices were around £500 I'll have a trawl through and see if I can't find the listing for them and post a link
To be fair that's a great price. To buy and get race panels painted is somewhere close and that's for one colour
Well I couldn't find the listing I saw before, However I did find these.. Bodywork Fairing kit for Honda CBR 1000 RR CBR1000RR 2006 06-07 Injection ABS | eBay They do a huge range of reps and custom fairings from 04-13 Blades Cheap too....I might just go for the TT Legends one as a spare set
Wow, what a night of inspiration it has been ! First falling in love with Jimbos satin black bad boy, and then the discovery of tOm's link, to which i joyfully perused and they do have a fine selection ! There are 3 satin black versions and now its decisions decision time... I might have to stick them up on here for a vote ! Hope they are all they are cracked out to be as they are suspiciously cheap :/ !? Thank you boys
