he had the choice to go elsewhere, wsbk ama, ok not motogp, but better off winning the wsbk championship or ama championship than coming in 15th or so in the gp, he ain't getting any younger, so the ones coming through are going to be the moto2 young riders
Yes he will try a totally different set up as has every ducati rider before him and it will make virtually no differance to how the bike feels and reacts. I thought it was quite well documented from previous ducati riders (stoner, melandri, rossi and hayden) that ducati will listen to their feedback but then totally ignore it and do things there own way
Well it's about time Ducati started to pay attention to the people riding their machine, as their attitude towards this situation is only getting worse. I can't understand a company shelling out millions on riders who clearly have a vast knowledge of knowing what makes a motorbike work on a race track but pay little or no attention to their input. The ignorance of the Ducati factory is destroying their chances of having a successful machine and it's about time they opened their minds and tried a new approach to working the problem
just reading rossi's comments on todays test and its nice to hear that he and the team seem to have solved the braking issues that he struggled with all last year
we shall see how true that is come the first race.... If I look at the times today and the times last year in quali then he was also second, but faster in kwali last year. But the good thing about the test is that we don't know what he's doing, full tank, empty tank, pushing for a laptime or trying different set ups..... so as nice it is to hear him say it, unfortunately we'll have to wait another 2 months to really find out how far everyone is...... I would love to see Rossi fighting for wins, but to be honest, I'm not sure he has it in him to beat lorenzo or marquez, Pedrosa will never win the championship, even with marquez and lornzo gone
I don't care who will win, as long as the top five pass the finish line within 2or 3 seconds close racing till the finish! (Arrhgg, who am I kidding ,prefer honda on top )
WOW MM#93 under 2.00 today, this kid is bloody fast, but lets see when his ECU is restricted by the fuel
Early doors but great to see Valentino is at it. Really hope he doesn't hang up his leathers at the end of the season. BT coverage is poor so far They tweeted that full details would be on the Sportshub programme and the coverage lasted 2 minutes at best, and was on after the Basketball!! Lets hope things get better
some great times ridden there today, Aleix esparagro has a few screws loose upstairs, bloody fast kid, hope he and his brother will be fighting for places this year
It would also appear that valentino has modified hid ridding style over the winter so he hangs off the bike more just like marc marquez. His target this year is to be world champion again without a doubt, even if he wont publicly say it
I'm subbed to Valentino's facebook page and I've noticed that he's spent the majority of his winter sliding about on his flat track Moto Ranch thingy. I wondered if that might've done him some good.
I put my Christmas Bonus on Marques winning the championship this year.............. So at the moment, I'm well happy.
