I've just been to a presentation at Grantham Honda to unveil the SP. A Honda technical guy came along to explain and present the technology, eight injectors super bike top end etc.
It is quite nice, there was one at Wheels in Peterborough on their open day last week JM's TT legends blade was there too, awesome bike that I guess I should have taken some pics
So Carl, does that mean the presentation doo wasn't put on for you picking up your new Blade SP then?
Is it just me (and no offence to anyone who has one) but does the rear seat cowl seem as its off a donner bike it doesn't follow any of the colour schemes lines if that makes sense?
I think your right Daz, red for the seat cowl would look better. I've manage to get genuine Honda hugger in pearl white off FleeBay for 100 notes brand new and was think of doing similar design to what is on the top of the tank. Not sure if whites will match so will have to wait and see.
That's good thinking.. I think it will look sound. The 2012 white has a pearl essence init I think so hopefully the sp white will be the same.. Let me know how it goes chief. I was looking at the small carbon huggers but they don't do anywhere near a good a job as the Oem ones for keeping the shock clean Do They. That ohlins ttx needs to stay nice and clean. Are you planning on fitting anything else? Other than family etc There's not much better in life than new bike time .the pain of us losing our repsols will soon be healed
What the 15th of February?? Surely you're not registering the bike on a 63 Plate are you two weeks before the 14 Plate is due out???
It's just a number Jay not worried about 14 plate but would like to get it run in ready for track day, remember last year with all the bloody snow, 5 weeks to do 600 miles :-(
Yes but think about the resale value! You'll knock £750+ off the resale with an 'old' plate and it's only two weeks?? Don't do it! You can do a 600 mile run in over a weekend if U have to or on Track! Most if not all modern Bikes are bench tested at Max Revs before they ship so the run in period is more to bed in running gear and gearbox than engine.
