Hi. Ive been mooching around on here for a few days now and can't find any groups or gatherings of us like minded Blade owners down here in the South and South Coast !? I think I'm alone on here being the only one from the Isle of Wight but please speak out if this is not so !! Im on the mainland a lot getting rid of my frustrations born from riding on the island (I don't advise anyone comes here to have a ride about :/). If anyone fancies starting a group or maybe kick the thought of a meet up and ride out about, id be interested to hear any feedback...
A few of the guys here meet up at loomies on a Wednesday evening and often pop down on a weekend, I try and get to poole quay on a Tuesday night a couple of times during the summer too
Once in a while there will be a big turnout of us going to Loomies for a meet up which is a fantastic ride from here in Kent.
Hi Blackness. I live in the New Forest and would be happy to meet up for ride out as I usually ride alone. Honda of Bournemouth hold monthly ride outs if you are interested.
it would be nice to have a few meet ups in the summer. I live far east and also a lone blader! I don't mind traveling a bit for a good meet up with fellow forum members.
Hi there - I'm based in West Sussex and often ride the 272, via loomies. Would be good to meet up and ride sometime.
Hi Blackness, spent a year cycling from waterlooville to the iow via the ferry, current girlfriend from Freshwater, anyho! Up for a meet up could even offer you somewhere to crash, stay in touch! Roll on the summer!
I live in East Sussex, and often do the run to Goodwood circuit, for brekkie at the Aerodrome cafe. Fancy a meet up there?
Great ride Dave - makes change from loomies and much nicer food. Done it with raff and abv last time. Cool watching planes come and go too Count me in
Goodwood sounds good excuse the pun! Could perhaps do it a few times over the summer so everyone can get to at least one meet
Definitely up for this, sounds like a great ride. I am in West Sussex near Petersfield, so happy to meet Blackness and whoever else is coming from the West at Loomies or somewhere and head there for brekkie before a ride out.
Happy to lead a few across from Crowborough way, great route a272, or smaller roads if weather is good, to Petworth, then up across the downs thru Dinton, small hairpins up the hill, then great roads all the way to Goodwood. Then sit outside , having brekkie, chatting up the fit lasses who work there, watching the spitfires/ etc take off and land. Go on a Saturday, and stroll across and watch the specialist track day also! Top place it really is.
