See it in action at the NEC- On our list for the cave. Ramps awesome, but doesn't lift the wheels off the ground/ramp- This will fill the GAP.
dont think its too bad for the money when you look at some of the basic hydrolic ramps will set you back that much.. Looks good
Isn't this just a slightly fancier version of the warrior bike lift? I know you can angle the bike with this but if that's the only extra!
The warrior lift only lifts from one side and takes bike up a few inches off the ground front n back whereas the skylift is basically an abba sportsbike stand with front arm lift built onto a hydraulic piston lift rig. The skylift uses the same bike specific adapters as the abba stand too which locks into the swing arm pivot (canny think or engine mounting point) on both sides so bike cant fall off the stand like it could the warrior type! I have gathered quite an array of stands in the few short years of owning bikes including and abba stand now with front arm lift add on, twin alloy paddock stands, rear steel tube paddock, front headstock tube stand and a hydraulic ramp lift! Each have there uses but if I am honest if I had known how much I would have spend on stands at the beginning I would have stumped up the £400 odd for the skylift first and be done with it!
Haha that's what was just goin through my head when I read that! With my luck I would prob park the bike up in a position without thinking and end up skelping the bike with the garage door!
I got one from the NEC and it's the best lift I've seen just got to get my brothers ZX10R off it!! The best bit is you can move it around really easily!
