2013 HONDA CB 1000 Extream | eBay The glasses guide values are here - http://1000rr.co.uk/other-bikes/15613-2.htm I have been watching the prices of these bikes very close, and as a private sale i would say no more than £6500, but ideally £6000-6300. The reg plate being a 13 is a bit of a pain as i don't really care if it were an 11 plate given i have a private reg to go on it, it just means i have to pay more for a couple of numbers on a piece of plastic ! The bike has not changed since 2008 when it was first introduced so how ever new it is, its still no different to any other bike out there. So..... what is a fair offer ?
£6250 I would say is fair ... so go in at 6k you have nothing to lose Looks nice and the akra is £600 you dont have to spend
Strange you both should say that..... about 1 min after posting this i did think to myself that a £6k cheeky offer would be near the mark and then move up a tad if need be, but your right, what he has it on for now is just mad. I have seen 3 bikes recently being sold privately on ebay that have all sold for really good prices........... only to turn up the next day at a dealers for anything between £1,000 and £1500 more !!! One was a classic, a guy in Plymouth selling it for £5k (nice bike for the money) and then virtually the next day its at a dealers for £6,200 ! I can bet he never even washed it !
Make him an off on what you think is right! What's the worse that can happen is he says no, might even say yes
Have you not bought a bike yet Hudson ?? thought it was a blade you were after a while back.............................get the ready's out son !!!!
Got one..... and now i have sold it !!!! It was just not for me, so now i am after the CB as its a more upright bike which for my commute will be better.
2012 Honda CB1000R-C Extreme - Only 1300 miles - Loaded with Extras | eBay bet you could get this for 6K
True but anything where i have to travel over water is just too far ! If the bike i were looking for was made for 1 year.... and was as rare as hen's teeth then i would travel, but the CB is in a somewhat more plentiful supply.
It got a very very minor update in 2011, the bars went gold and the front, small circular light went LED, that's it, but in real terms its the same in 2014 as it was in 2008.
You've still done good if you get it for £6500 ! Lovely thing and its saved you more with having the Akra and bits on it which you'd probably want to buy as well ! Not even run in ! Nice !
True, but £6500 could have bought me a 2012, 1600 mile cynos grey one at a main dealer !!! But i did not like the colour, the extras are nice but to be honest i would not mind a standard bike, i can guarantee that if i came to px it at a dealer they would give exactly zero pounds extra for anything on the bike !
if start without issue also when warm/hot round about 6300-6500 for 8230 you can have a new one 2014 (here)
