Mine came today too. Just as well I recon.....as it's not really worth going to their Wrexham store anymore if you're into actually looking at gear. I called in there last Saturday...beautiful store however, really, really disappointed, where there used to be loads of interesting bike porn to look at...it's nearly all pushbikes and mamil gear now. Which is fantabidosey if you like pushbikes I suppose....but tbh, most bike shops have much more on display. Shame really, I used to love going there having a mooch, and nearly always ended up spending a few quid. Probably use the internet for purchases a little more in future.....as the trip out (time & petrol wise) there is no longer justified with what they have on display. Hope they give a little more floor space to bike gear in the future.
Well mine came today but was sent to one of my previous customers that I'd done a job for and while I was there I had something sent as a one off. Got a call from her today to go pick it up!
Mine did arrive, so thanks DT / Andy ! I have to agree with Tifa's comments. It has been sad to see the space in the shop dwindle away on the Motorcycle front. I don't visit as often as I used to for the same reasons. I guess DT know where their bread is buttered though and must assume that the bicycle side is making them more money.
Morning Tifa, Thank you for your feedback on this. You should have asked for me and said hello, I was working last Saturday. We have more stock in than ever though with the growing of the business in all area's and limited space within the showroom each department have had to make sacrifices regarding the space that they have. We have just built another 3 story warehouse at the back in order to keep as much in stock that is possible. The floor space each department has is not judged by how large that department is but how large the products are so cycles need a lot of space in order to display the bikes. We have tried to compensate for this by moving the race cars and the track R1 out of the showroom. Anytime any of you come in if you can't see something on display then please ask and we can bring it out for you. Many thanks Andy

Thanks for that Andy, it kinda makes sense....kinda. Like many, I make many purchases on impulse, for instance, there are loads of odds and ends that I 'need' (well not really, but I guess you'll know what I mean?) and just pick them up as I go along. It's really nice to just wander in store, see something that takes your eye or pick a few things up that you didn't expect to see. J&S have a fantastic showroom....but the product range is pants. DT have a fantastic product range....but the (motorcycle)showroom is pants. Without sounding like a flash bastid, my buying patterns are not always cost driven....the consequences of such is that I quite often end up overpaying for stuff. To be honest, I don't mind that much as long as I get what I want, and it's fair value....when I want it. I think DT offer very good/fair value btw. As a customer, what I want to see (in the flesh...well in a display cabinet even) are Gilles, Brembo, Akrapovic, PCIII's, Quickshifters, Nitron, Sexy bleed valves, Quality levers, Carbon, Electronic aids, Ohlins steering damper kits...etc...etc...sometimes I just like to look at this stuff to work out in my head how it will perform/look on my bike..? I know you guys are there to help and show us this stuff....but sometimes, I don't like the idea of bothering you guys with this, when you seem so busy...maybe that's just me? I can't bring myself to ask an assistant to drag some stock down from the stockroom, unbox it, for me just to 'look' at....unless I'm desperate for that part? Without sounding like a moaning minnie, I don't really need to see anything motrax....or oxford either, unless it IS something really new, that I haven't seen before....although they're probably best sellers/margin .....but that stuff is everywhere, and I DO mean everywhere....it would just be nice to see something different?
