Well it has to go back again . they have fitted a fan and yes it works but hardly puts any air out and after 23 miles still no heat . drivers door window still does not work. it went half way down by itself before and you struggled to get it up now nothing . and other stuff. i can not keep having time off to drop off and pick up this heap . it goes back again tomorrow morning . Idiot tried to tell my wife on the phone it was a feature of the gti to drop window have way down , She just said do you think because im a woman im stupid . fix the car or give us our money back. i think she may swing for him before i do !
Refund is now overdue.You have had enough of the shite he has sold you.Ask them politely for your money back,give them the lot back and ask to pick up your money in 24hrs. I buy and sell through dealers sometimes myself and some are as bad rogues as they come.But the bad ones don't sell many cars now due to issues before that have ended up with them seriously hurt or taken up the woods.If they buy a wrong un it should be fixed for them to sell on.It's the risk they take at an auction or trade-ins.Thats why they give peanuts for them.This dealer obviously likes a bit of liberty taking,he sure is on the right path to getting his desserts.Lets hope he gives the money back you are due.
Yes but he wont give me a refund in the call i have recorded from him. wish i could work out how to post it its a interesting use of anglo saxon. , and says if it goes to court he will drag it out for months all the time we can not use the dam thing . he is now not answering our calls .
Well you could park it up near his site and put a great big sign in it saying where you bought it and what has gone wrong with it.That will be the talk of anyone driving past.Bad news goes further than good news.
I have told him i want money back but trading standards say i have to give him a chance to fix it . if it does not get done before mid way through next week i will have the wife transcribe all his abuseve call and put a copy through the letter box of all his neighbours on the street he lives and also near his work address . i will inform the worm of this as soon as he has the balls to answer my calls or meet me .
You have the right to ask for a refund within a reasonable amount of time which you are, you have also given them the chance to repair which you don't have too, they then have lied to you and said that faults are features of the car Citizens Advice - The car you bought is faulty

The sequence is Repair (The dealer must be given the chance to remedy the problems) Replace Refund If you do not give the dealer the opportunity to repair the vehicle, then the county court may throw any claim out. Does not apply in this case as the dealer has had the opportunity to remedy the situation, but the next stage is to ask for a replacement vehicle, and then the refund. Once these three sequence of actions have been complied with, then it is straight to the county court and issue proceedings.
So after yet more abuse from him and him swearing at the wife and putting the phone down on her 5 times we have droped the car off and picked up his curtesy car , my god its filthy inside and keeps stalling but at least the wife has wheels , the kids hate it by the way . we have also found out the waranty docs he has filled in and sold us have never been registered with the company .
It came back after another week away and yes you have guessed it its broken again , oil lights on and demands you stop , i can see its the head gasket thats gone and he was told this as a list of faults last time . All he has done is clean out the rocker cover and said its done . The wife dropped it back again yesterday and has a loaner , he told her he didnt understand what was wrong as it had been in to volkswagen , he is a liar as i work for volkswagen and it has not been into the local dealerships as i can check that from my desk at work . had enough now it gone on 2 months . Trading standards are doing nothing the warranty company still have not got his side of paper work . he says rep has it and they are investigating aparrently .The wife has said its fixed this time totally or i can do as i wish . Once warranty company have got back to me this week im off to police as it looks like he has sold a warranty that does not exist . that or im feeding the fucker to my mates pigs .
Mate I think you need to prioritise. Take that shed down to the scrap yard. Sell your motorbike then buy your Wife a decent car that she and the kids are safe in!!
My bike is currently 3/4 of the way through a rebuild and is being sold to fund a nice holiday for the kids , The other bike was sold to buy this car .the wife only uses the car for short trips and its all we can afford . we have a 06 passat diesel thats got 43 k on the clock for any long trips we do . i drive it most days as she prefers a smaller car . I can not afford to just drop £ 1200 but thanks for your helpful advice .
stand outside his place and approach all potential customers telling them your experience. i have done this to Currys and it worked a treat. he can do nothing if you arent on his property. if you are all he can do is ask you to leave.
Print all the faults with car, his attempts to fix and a timeline in large font, place them on the inside windows of the car and park it outside the dealership locked up - leave it there. Include the note about warranty being a sham Gutted for you - why will he just not fix it or refund you, he must have worked out you are not stupid by now... Still got the audio recording of the initial phone call I hope saved somewhere...
recorderd call was sent to warranty company yesterday and im currently doing copys on to a disc and putting through the doors of all his neighbours down his posh street and the ones local to his car lot . That should please him . Autotrader have also been sent a copy as he advertises all 80 cars he currently has for sale with them . And my favorite is watchdog who are waiting to see what he does next , they loved the call !
