Well picked up my SP this afternoon, had short spin out here are my first thoughts.
    1. Engine super smooth.
    2. Suspension gave good feedback from road.
    3. Seat is rock hard, 100 mile on that is going to see numb bum.
    4. Steering felt quick but wet conditions, new tyres and running in means that'll be tested later for a fuller account.
    5. Ride position felt good.

Part to fit tomorrow along with tank pad and bulbs.

    Don't forget a rad guard too -

Be interesting how a regular 2014 blade is - its got lots of the things changed / mentioned for the SP like amended riding position, engine mods, screen, subframe, new fuel cap etc. but the SP has stolen the limelight so to speak so people maybe not aware the 'regular' 2014 model has changed over the 2013 one.

Lovely mate, although not sure I would have taken her out today. In fact I'd have wrapped her up in the garage 'til better weather :D

Cant believe you took a brand new bike out in this crap weather. But the bike looks brilliant I saw one for the first time at Excel yesterday (very jealous) glad you were able to get out on it for a while. Bet you will be up early in the morning putting those bits on.
Good luck to ya mate, enjoy it :)

Wouldn't have taken it out guys??

Seriously even I would have taken the bike out.
There is no way I could have a new bike delivered and not at the very least have a sneaky run. I would be bursting at the seams.
I know I did the same after I waited 3 months for my Blade.

I have to say to you guys the first biggest thing I noticed was how smooth the engine was.
