I went with this supplier in the end
Solar panel kits; 12v Solar battery chargers; off grid solar power
The guy Curtis, seemed to know his onions. I'll let you know how I get on. I have gone for an 80Watt panel because I want to have the option of installing a burglar alarm and an outdoor LED PIR light. It will be this weekends project.

I've got a couple of 95 amp battery which we replace on a couple of BMW's at work, joined together in parallel.

I would guess 16mm^2 and because you can potentially draw upto 167A with that!! how much was the setup sine?

For a better quality light maybe you could try these.
I think they are very good compared the fluorescent light.
Sunstore - 12v 7w LED bulb for solar application
I also notice from your pic you aren't using the lighting terminals on the controller unit. Is there a reason for this?
I have also used one of these, 10W flood lights for outside the garage door. The light output is surprisingly very good, but the amount the light head unit can point down is restricted due to the PIR sensor at the bottom. I may try mounting it "upside down", but I can only do this if the PIR head will swivel 180 degrees.

Didn't use output terminals on control as when the battery voltage drops below a certain voltage the control unit switches feed to those terminals off.
Thanks for the heads up on the bulbs Kev.
