June'ish last year I had a set of Power 3 fitted on the bike for £230,

Nearly down to the wear indicators so got a few quotes, this year all my locals will do it for about £310-315 or £260-280 loose!!. Their labour charges haven't gone up so the cost of tyres must have seriously inflated (see what I did there :D)

I will now probably buy a set off Demon Tweeks and fit separately, might even purchase the gear to fit and balance the tyre myself.

Anyone seen this Set Michelin PILOT POWER Motorcycle Tyres 120/70/zr17 & 190/50/zr17- PAIR | eBay
a pair of older power for £159!!! is it worth the saving for older tech?

I'm guessing around 8-9k miles + 1 track day, could probs do more but a gone bit square due to the motorway miles.
    btw, I run lower pressure 34/34 .

Maybe the older powers wont last as long as the 3's. With 10% discount from demon tweaks the power 3's might be worth paying that extra.

You find them OK on a Blade?

I found they let loose a little too quickly on my previous CB1000r. Took a while to warm up too, lasted ages though..
