The front breaks on my 2012 bike are making some odd noises , so maybe time to have a look at them and since they feel alittle soggy when break i though it might be worth adding Hel lines and just to make life easier some speed bleed nipples.

looking into the I see that there are loads of types and then I found these:

    Honda CBR600RR/CBR1000RR- Self-Bleed Brake Caliper Nipple - M8x1.25x16mm | eBay

(hope the link works if not EBAY item 321070592995)

they look very well made and at £24.00 per nipple they bloody well better be. Any one have any comments and or advise ???

I recently fitted speed bleeder type nipples to mine & yes, the make the bleeding process easier & quicker.

    I bought from this supplier:

Speedy Brake Bleeder Nipples EZ Brake Bleeding [M8x3] | eBay

Bear in mind however, the front caliper nipples are M7 x 1.00. The rear nipple & master cylinder are M8 x 1.25.

I did look at these types but given the response from the guy in ebay selling the other ones are they worth it

"sadly it is per nipple, quite expensive but superbly engineered, not like the ones which require a thread sealant and only work twice"

if your changing your break fluid often that would pay for the other ones fairly quickly

    Don't buy em!!!!

They wont fit and are a rip off....

Seriously though the callipers are actually M7x1mm and these are much better value, the german ones are ace ( and essentially are much better, but way too expensive:)

Just to add I've got the cheaper ones, and bled several times and they do not leak. The seating is sufficient enough not to rely on the thread seal.

Now there's a thought - shame they don't do them in Repsol Orange though ;)

It is yes! but everyone knows that you only get true repsol orange if you add teflon to the paint! (thats to make Repsols super slippy...which is why they are the fastest colour of course)
This would of course make the cap hard to undo, so I understand why there is NO orange! :)
