If you do wish to cancel (crikey I hate that word and I hate dee-feat ( scuse the pun....;) ) but we would never hold you or your money to ransom, certainly if you have had to make other arrangements.     Apologies again for the embarrassing delay - I'm gutted for Andy as he has spent so much time building this relationship with you guys. I just hope you wont hold it against him - as he's a good 'un ;)

    I feel some kind of freebie should be included when these lifts eventually get sent out, just a small sweetener for all the waiting we have done over this

    Surely the sweetener is the fact that you've got the lift for a bargain price thanks to Tweeks organising a group-buy price?

    I'm waiting for mine and I've got no complaints. It's not like we haven't been kept well informed.

    Do you honestly think that this has been a good buying experience? OK we are told that the adapter plates are on a boat on their way to us...............Slow boat from China I presume....
    C'mon mate, parts from anywhere in the world do not take months to arrive no matter where they are coming from, I feel maybe the "group buy" order was taken in haste as it could not be fulfilled for delivery within a reasonable timescale. I am sure we have all bought stuff from China or USA and it has arrived within days of purchase,

    I assumed that, as you say, the adaptor plates were coming from China. Presumably they're in a container with a bunch of other stuff. My guess is that Tweeks didn't expect that the group buy would be as popular as it was and could only fulfil a certain number of orders with the stock that they had on-hand. My guess is that they had an order of these in place and were expecting them to ship within an agreed date.

    I assume that the supplier hasn't met the agreed ex-works delivery date and that now they're on their way here in a container.

    I know that sailing time from Singapore to here is about 28 days so my guess is that transit time from the factory in China to arrival at Tweeks' place would be more like 40 days, give or take.

    The way I look at it is, we've got these lifts for an absolute song. Hence the wait.

    If you want it yesterday then there's the Constands option for twice the price.

    I just don't understand why people feel like they should expect Savoy Grill service for a Little Chef price.

    I only mentioned China as its probably as far away as you can get from the UK, Demon website says delivery in UK within 21 days, and for not a lot more money than we paid, now I know a bargain is a bargain but then that bargain value is lost when this kind of delay occurs.

    Why is the bargain value lost? The lift's not made out of cheese. It's not perishable.

    Hey guys, I'm sorry and do understand your comments and frustrations and also appreciate your support. At the risk of annoying you more, we actually had 42 of these stands in stock on 12th Nov when the Group buy was being discussed so we did think we'd be safe stock-wise. We didn't expect the delay on the adaptor kits so I feel we overlooked this and that's my fault as I prompted Andy to suggest the group buy! We now only have 2 stands in stock (both allocated to customers waiting for adaptor kits). So if I dare say it, if anyone is keen and fancies a bit of fabrication work this weekend we can organise the release of a stand today (but we only have 2). And sorry no I don't have the tech drawing/spec as I've already tried this as I would have had some made locally.

    Sorry again ;(

    p.s: With regard to a sweetener, it's not an unreasonable suggestion and we would normally consider offering something, but will struggle...... but this isn't my fault this time - it's Andy's.... yes I'm passing the buck! He's given you far too steep a discount so there's s0d all left to play with!!! ;( I can only think it's worth taking advantage of the free carriage and add to your current order and get him to do you another good deal (but do me a favour..... and please choose something in stock ;) ) All the best guys.     I really feel for the demon tweaks team here, but I do see a trend that reminds me of a certain similar looking constands product that had exactly the same issues with regards to supply after the NEC show in 2012!

    I do think asking for more free stuff is a bit tongue in cheek tho due to the huge savings that the DT team have already provided, yes the group buy was a lot more popular than first anticipated but everyone was informed of supply issues which are out of DT control.

    As already stated DT are not trying to steal your money and if you want to be refunded they are willing to do this.

    I have always had great dealings with DT and great deals on everything I have purchased from them since they started their forum presence here and it's a shame that this group buy has been causing so many issues but I just hope it doesn't put Andy, Dee and the rest of the team from continuing to supply us with great deals with miby the possibly doing something similar in the future! :)

    hopefully there are also stands on it's way in the container, when you say there are only 2 stands left??

    Can you confirm my order still and when the delivery date would be? wanted it before I went to spain 19/2, as I needed a front stand, ended up borrowing one, but don't want to be borrowing one when I start my racing/trackdays in belgium/europe at the end of march. otherwise I'll just buy a front stand and be done that way

    Fair comment, but yes we will definitely be celebrating their arrival soon ;) We are pursuing the shipping agent on a regular basis to verify they are on schedule. Trust me you guys will be the first to know if this alters in any way - be it better or worse.

    THEY HAVE ARRIVED!!!!

    I am pleased to announce that the Spider stands and pins have arrived in this morning - 4 days early!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

    Joking aside, thank you everyone for your patience, it has been frustrating on both sides. These are all being despatched today so assuming that there are no hold ups with transportation then these will all be delivered to yourselves tomorrow. Maarten - you should get yours next week.
