must admit the blade is a brilliant all round bike cant think of a standard situation in which any othe bike out does it.
be good to know if the sp is as good all round or may be even better?

apparently the GSXR is better at green-laning. (ask ZeePony (otherwise known as Baron Von Grumble))

Zee's never taken the blade green laning though Icarus, so it's unfair I think to class it as secondary to the gixxer ;) not without a chance to prove itself anyway.

But now that he's had it Arthur'd and carboned to death I don't think we'll ever see that blade on its side in a rut strewn puddle covered mud track

    That it maybe!

How about over a closed Swiss mountain pass, with a 10 foot muddy/icy ramp in and out of a construction site, then after several miles of empty downhill nirvana you find the reason the barrier that was closed and that you ignored, and circumnavigated by riding through a snowy slushy field, was because the gates at the other end of the pass were locked (due to said construction site in the middle of the pass), so to much amusement of the locals, 6 dickhead British riders spend the next 2 hours man handling their superbikes around the obstacle.

Everyday off roader is the Blade

To be fair, it was not just Blades but an R1, Gixer thou and CBR6s thrown into the mix...

So we've learnt a lot by this thread.

The blade is an all weather, every day commuter, track bike, green laner and a tourer. Not only that it has an awesome forum full of friendly and helpful people.

But the seat is hard :D

I think Honda designed them to be orthopaedic! Who needs a seat anyway? Just hang off the side of it and you'll never notice! :)
