Hi Al I have one and it is my first Honda and a Blade in tri colours abs.if you go for one source one with the gold forks and silver swing arm as some are all black and in my humble view look cheap. Love the bike looking forward to a dry run out in morning to cover off running in although it still goes like a missile without trying.
The other thing to consider if you have a tri colour is to buy an SP bellypan in white with HONDA in red text. Does the fuel thing still have the weird formula that nobody else uses?
I get what you are saying with the forks and swing arm. I think the gold and silver do look a little better than the black but I think that is all that's available on this years model. I do prefer the grey Showa BPF caps on the 14my over the blue ones from the earlier model though. How is the running in going? Should be starting on mine tomorrow, can't wait!
Hi running in going well up to 285 miles going to attempt A road in morning as long as dry tonight need to get edges over and dodge the pot holes next time down near Eastleigh let me know and I'll buy you a brew!
Well how's this for a deal I spoke to my dealer yesterday here's what he said - He would give me 5k for my 09 Hrc blade with 27k on the clock as standard. Get the new blade on a pcp plan where by I put 4250 from my trade in into the deal get £750 cash back. Payments are less than £200 per month and I can do 15k a year with a final balloon payment of £2600 in 3 years time plus I get to keep my new 2013 wheels that I just out on as a spare set. I am seriously tempted by this deal but not sure that I want something on finance again as I currently own my blade out right as it stands....
I had a brand new one 12 plate 10300 0% interest gave me £4800 for my rr6 . 1st service free seat cowl R&G crash protectors
£200 a month, think of the adventures/mods/etc you can do with that per month. id keep your 09, run it into the ground, its still a fantastic bike! Unless you have the spare money, then why not, enjoy life
Nick, could you put £200 a month to one side now, give it 5 months and you have a grand cash to assist with the trade in. I am sure 0% over 3 years will be available in next 6 / 9 months - trade the bike then, it won't drop much more than 5k Just one of many options - I think going from an 09 to a 14 you will notice quite a few changes with suspension upgrades, engine work, riding position etc
Yeah I think to be fair I am going to hang on to my 09 blade for now I have yet to take her on track yet and I want to do that first because I won't feel like I've had my monies worth if I don't. I'll just start saving then when I can afford to buy a new one out right I will as I really don't want finance again managed to get myself out of that hole before would be silly to jump back into it again. Thanks for the advice everybody I'll stick with mine now she still teaches me everyday...
Mine should be arriving this week so should hopefully have it Pdi'd and ready to roll for the weekend....
Thats good i was only offered £4500 for my 2010 with 12000 miles on it, mind you that was down in sunny surrey!! personally im looking at the bmw!
I think next year will be the year to buy new bikes with new models on the cards from Yam and Honda.. Well that's what I thought last year mind!!
