A tail tidy is compulsary on a standard blade but on the sp it should carry a 6 month sentance to ride without 1 :)

Yes clearly there is some logic there with which only the japanese and regulators understand. They suddenly start blurting out things like "mass centralisation" to justify it, blah blahh...

EU regulations are getting worse, they are having to sacrifice performance to meet the guide lines. I don't think it's Hondas fault, I imagine they have a hard time getting there machines within European guidelines. The reason why the newer blades use 0w30 oil is to reduce emissions. Although 10w40 is probably better for the engine. ( don't quote me on that lol)

Things are only going to get worse!

SP looks fantastic but I think you should remove all those horrible stickers on the swing arm

Would do Clarkey but at my age just remembering my name as a task so the helpful reminders on the swinging arm are a bonus :)

I had a good look at one today in Hunts and they are lush, you really are lucky.

I know many, maybe me included may feel its not as special / an advance as it could have been but I think the depth of quality of suspension etc. is one you will only appreciate with miles.

I admire you for having the balls to use it so early in the year - Please tell me you have venture shield fitted to it as I can tell you from experience the front edge of fairings / tank cover deteriorate without it and they really are special on the SP with the chequer print.

The bellypan alone is £500 to replace if you get chips on it!

Helmet made to use with the SP.

Managed to do deal at Honda Centre for my non fitting Akro for a Shoei helmet that matches the bike perfectly :)

Sorry about phone photo but colours are richer in real life and certainly go with the bike.

No venture shield yet but it is on the list of things to get, Quickshifter is next item.

Had spin out today and the bike certainly feels/handles different to my old 13 plate Repsol, differently a sharper feel to the engine and handling AND I'm loving it, only 210 miles now before run in :)

Awesome - get the v.shield as soon as possible - my 08 white side fairings are ruined on the front / leading edges - ok they did a load of miles but its gradual affect of thousands of impacts of stones etc. that kill them.

Hope you also have a rad guard.

QS is awesome - then just wait for exhaust or see if Pipeworx will use your bike as a 'mule' in return for a free can ? All 2014 Blades have the new exhaust so they will want a pipe to suit it.

    Much less than new panels!

Depends if you DIY or have them fit it - think supply only about £100, supply and fit maybe £200 but don't quote me on that

Its only when you get chips that you think Doh! should have got that done

Jesus I can get all my panels re sprayed for £200 as I know a good body shop painter. I suppose it's priceless to protect the SP paintwork

£200 for all panels is a bargain - most want over £200 just for 1, then you need to add the decal price to finish.

Can I send 2 side panels and under tray section to be painted in Pearl sunbeam white please

He's a good friend I do a lot of mot's for him. I will change my colour one day, I've got swirls all over mine, being black they show up clearly.

What colour I will choose I don't know, the possibilities are endless!

First run out will be to Warrington to have the venture shield fitted. Had my Repsol done and they charged 190 for ride in ride out. Already got the rad guard along with the down pipe gaurd and of course I have a tail tidy ..

Looking good Daz, which make of tail tidy have you gone for?
Found website that supplies Venture Shield (ChipGuardUK) 94 quid delivered and doesn't look hard at all to put on so may order full bike kit.

I may check that out rich so thanks for that. I've got an r@g tail tidy . I've always used them and matches the other protection I've got for the bike. I do like the yoshis and evo tech ones tho. I'm a bit gutted about the exhaust situation but I have a pal who's a fabricator who says he will make me a link pipe to marry up to the end can. I fancy an arrow one :). How you getting on with the sp pal
