A 2014 TriColour, send the wheels away to be painted gold and get the belly pan done in white is cheapest way to get towards the SP look - but the frame will be wrong colour - lots of details set it apart when you see them side by side like that. New SP bellypan is £500 for both sides
Invisible Patterns Ventureshield - 3M Ventureshield Warrington, North West, UK Had my previous bikes done here Bryan. Top work
If you have invested the best part of £15k in your SP its surely worth the £100 for the guys to fit the ventureshield - and that's from somebody who thought they would be clever and fit it themselves to their brand new R1...
Ive watched them doing the demo's at the NEC bike show and looks a peace off piss but would imagine i'd easily mess it up...
some parts went on fine 100% no issues, but a couple were a nightmare - the nosecone / upper fairing was one HUGE piece Also I was applying it over decals / stickers and the water bubbles round edges would not go
Just took a look at their web site, look good. Let me know when your going might be able to meet and grab a coffee
Yup don't fit yourself these guys do it day in day out and it still takes them ages. Book it in and be prepared to hang around in the little coffee area for a couple of hours but its the best mod you will ever do.
I saw a post you placed on the spotted section last year. You saw a Repsol at devils bridge with the number plate CI YOU. It was me . i waited at invisible patterns last time they fitted the venture shield and it wasn't a bad afternoon to be honest
Cheers si. Appreciate that . Yeah I'm z fan of the levers aswell. They are lightech magnesium ones. Nice bit of kit
Me and a mate fitted ventureshield to his week old panigale. Took best part of 6 hours and whilst 90% happy, there was still 10% that wasn't good, either bubbles or edges that wouldn't stick. My advice is its £100 well spent to get the professionals to it. Having said that, I never bothered on my new blade and its holding up well so far. I may live to regret it as the miles clock up but I just bought a spare set of fairings instead!
