This has just started a week ago and seems to tie in with the revolution of a wheel, basically under slight acceleration there seems to be one knock per revolution and it is very intermittent ? It doesn't sound engine related as when idle-ing everything sounds fine. I've just had the front bearings done so it can't be that..
As with all these noises it's really difficult to tie down a location. I also got off the bike this morning (icy out there... careful kids!) just to check about, I have braided hoses and tapped the front one against the front mudguard lightly seems to be the sort of noise... it's not loud but bloody annoying...

I did think it could be the chain as last week it got quite dry. I checked the alignment and slack and gave it a mega lube as I thought it could be a dry / stiff link? No luck though... still tapping..

    Any ideas?

    Thanks...

Is it since the front beatings have been replaced? maybe take it back to place/person who fitted them, so they can have a look?

I would check every bolt, raise the front wheel, lock to lock, head bearings etc

Cheers for the suggestions guys, I've just been downstairs (at work atm) to get a colleague to check the tyres as I push etc... No stones, nails etc.
What I did notice however is the two braided hoses that go down to the front wheel are cable tied around the black grommets to secure. Well they no longer are as the grommits have sort of escaped the cable tie so the hoses although run down together are somewhat loose and pass extremely close to the nose of the fairing.... could be this ??

I shall secure and report back !

    Of course I'm right!

I have resurrected a really bad chain by soaking in old engine oil

That's the one I've got on my bike and had no problems with it, M&P and busters are part of the same group so have huge buying power so hence cheaper prices
