Hahaha!! Me too! Saturday made my thighs kill, not helped by doing a whole out on the downhill mountain bike yesterday either. You will soon get into the swing of it though. I found that it all got easier about halfway through the season. plus you do more laps on a trackday than out racing anyway, but you do work harder during a race though.

Do you stretch off or put deep heat on or anything?

before a race now, I do tend to do a few stretches beforehand and this does tend to help. I also enlist the help of a brolly dolly to give me a good massage afterwards because club racing is full of brolly dollies.

i ache after getting the bike out the garage at the mo.

as robin says, it does get easier as season goes on. not done 100's of trackdays but same for the road riding, come the summer tour I can spend all day riding and not ache one bit. one tour we do 300 odd miles every day for 9 days and although i ache, not as bad as after first few rides of the season.

i'm hoping the racing will be the same

shall see how i feel come sat after snet....

Believe it or not YT, all my injuries last year were down to brolly dolly related incidents. Not once did I fall off the bike. The dislocated shoulder and broken bone in hand were purely down to brolly waving bints and their desire to stop the aches and pains in my Adonis like figure.
