Evening Guys, looking to fit a Rad Guard to my 12 Blade , the choice is between power bronze or R & G , any one with experience of either ? Thanks in advance .
R&G on my blade - decent bit of kit. I'd stay away from powerbronze personally. Think their stuff looks pants, and not sure of quality tbh. Sure others might be able to help though
R&G here. Never given it a second thought since it was fitted. No difference in temp, no issues, as it should be.
I have R&G rad guard and downpipe guard on mine. Rad guard was relatively easy to fit without removing fairings. I left the downpipe guard until it got serviced and got the garage to put it on.
R&G too, very easy fit and top quality, although I'm looking into the Evotech one for my RSV4 Factory just to try someone else!
£16 for the mesh from b&q and make ur own, probably the cheeper option if that's what your after. Give it a go
You can buy the R&G mesh from R&G, and buy plastic edge trim. I need to get one for my RR8, was going to do DIY but not sure I have the time, its quite a lot cheaper though!
Deffo R&G here too did make a diy one years ago when i had an FZR thou but for the amount of grief involved removing rad etc id rather buy ready made
I really like the look of the evotech one - looks a bit neater than the R&G imo. So I think I'm gonna get one of them once I've MOT'd the bike and it's ready for summer Here's a pic comparing the 2. I like the look of the honeycomb pattern of the evotech
Have just ordered some Evotech rad & oil guards from Conquest Carbon on the traders part of this forum.
Just purchased a Beowulf one at the Scottish bike show cost £45 great piece of kit and so easy to fit looks the dogs nuts
Emailed Evotech a couple of days ago about a rad guard for a 2014 ABS. Say's he's got a proto made and just waiting for the bike to come back to have it fitted. Hope this info is of use to someone.
