I've recently sent a universal Harris Paddock Stand back as my bikes fell off it 4 times now as basically the pins are too wide for the ZX10 and the front part of the Fork leg is only just on the back edge of the pin by 3mm or so and when lowering it twist off and drops.

Ordered the 'Under Fork Spiggot' type instead but in the mean time have bought a Moto GP Headstock stand with 5 Pins.

None of these Pins are big enough by a mile! [IMG]

Measuring it the hole size seems to be about 27mm?

I can't take my front wheel off now and I desperately need to so I can take this faulty Slick back to Infront Tyres to see what they say.

Can you get a ratchet strap round the roof beams o the garage? Then just lift from the bars

Can you not just get a sleeve to slot over your existing pin to bring it up to 27mm?
That is a 5 minute job

Does the 27mm pin not need to be turned down slightly in order to fit the blade?

I know this has been brought up in a few threads before with the required sizes we're posted but I seem to recall an issue with the 27mm pin being just a lil bit too big!

I used a socket out of my tool kit over one of the supplied pins on the blade as it was to small works fine but I need to order a 27 and then file it down to a 26 I think

    It's not a Harris stand it's a MotoGp Stand.

I'm currently waiting for a Front Fork Spigot Stand from Harris hence why I bought this as a stop gap because as it 'stands' (no pun intended) I can't swap my wheel out.
