Been commuting to work via ogwen and llanberis passes last couple of days (very quick roads but wet and dry patches) new shifter is great but have only tried it on the upshift due to high speed and the road conditions. Can you / should you just bang it down the box without the clutch to maximise engine breaking, skould you match the revs even when decelerating hard? Will it step out if you change down while tipping in. Seems that you can totally pin it and shift while still cranked over on the upshift in the dry (slight step) but don't want to risk anything too silly. Would appreciate some tips as got trackday coming up soon. That and gods own racetrack is squeeky clean, drying fast and tourist free
Make sure you've setup the QS for compression shift only and I've set Cut=55 and Sen=60. Went out Saturday around Betws, Blaenau, Bala road and these settings work well for me, However I was still running in the SP. We'll have to meet up sometime for a spin and a chat.
Aye strain on the box would not recommend the yanks say it's ok but they know it all.its nice to do some of the work sometimes or it's like riding a automatic lol
My kill and sensitivity the same no probs also put it too high and you'll get a false neutral put it that works for you tho
