Hi guys Am in the market for a quick shifter for 09 blade would love a hm one but unfortunately money won't stretch that far with trips and things going on this year so was wondering if anybody has or has had a dynojet quick shifter fitted to their pc5 if so how did it fair was it trouble free work fine easy to set up and so on as there are a few on fleabay that could be within my budget Many thanks guys Brian
I can't speak for the Dynojet quick shifter, but I've not heard great things about it as I don't think it's a strain gauge like the HM. If it was me, and I know how hard it is to wait. I would wait and try to save that bit extra for a HM quick shifter as they are a class but of kit. You can always ask Arthur what kind of deal he could do for you
if you do buy one, makesure you get the ignition controller to go with the PC5, then it goes through the ingnition and not through the injection(apparently) but like ray said save up a bit bit and wait for the HM, you won't be disappointed!!!! quality stuff the HM is
Iv'e had a Dynojet quickshifter on my blade for 4 years now and it has been trouble free and contrary to what Ray thinks/says or heard....the DJ shifter has a load cell just as the HM shifter does, if the DJ shifter is set up correctly i.e on a dyno machine as mine was then you shouldn't have any probs mate
The DJ is vastly different from ours and is basically just a switch. A dyno is not required to set up the HM properly either. Please do not confuse them
Thanks Toby if funds would allow I would go down the hm route as members on here seem to love them and don't have a bad word about them was just trying to get some feedback on the cheaper options
