not quite the same though is it, I will increase download speed if/when I need it (4K TV) until then why waste money that can go on other things in life unless you personally are trying to compensate for your lack of Hampton size "Hey everyone my internet connection is huge" lol
And to think when we used to upgrade customers to 9600bps modems and they used to wet themselves that such fast speeds had entered their daily lives...................
Ah but in olden days of low definition porn, they had pubic hair like a crows nest so there wasn't anything to aspire to.
But at 9600 it made the sex looooooooooong and very slow. The reality was this was pre internet days as we know it now, Win 3.1 was not even thought of!
Back in the very early 90s, my mate's dad got an internet connection in his office. My mate, keen to display his mastery of this new technology, swiped the keys one saturday and we headed down there. After a short while he proudly proclaimed to have found some pornographic pictures (GASP... on the internet? Never!) and set about downloading them... this was going to take about 24 hours! So, my mate led us down to the office the next day so show off the fruits of his talents...... high quality pictures they were... of chess pieces in various compromising positions...... so my first ever internet experience was of searching for porn, and being trolled... how things have changed!
