well forecast looks good, but it's pissing down here atm about 60 miles away, still got 24hrs to go yet....
Had lunch today with the Wifey and the youngest at the Hollies Farm Shop which is 5 mins from Oulton. Rained a bit till 11 then it's been sunny and dry ever since. Tomorrow should be rain free and no rain forecast overnight either so nowt to dry up in the morning!
yep not ooking too bad, maybe a bit windy but can handle that, would like a dry day for my 1st outing for nearly 5 months......
dont i know it,dont like going out on track with a big fuck off target on my back!!!! but i'll tell him now,i'm bimbling all day, very rusty and spending the time setting up and getting a feel for the bike.there, thats my excuses sorted
Every trackday I do my plan is NOT To have a pin it and win it day and practice and try and improve on things I have normally forgotten all about that by the time I get to Cascades .. Especially if all the regulars are there . If I get to stay in inters tommorow I plan to use it to try and improve on things if I get to move up to Fast .Scooby I will bring my Bow and Arrow .
Another cracking day and the weather was excellent thanks to (J)Sinewave for swopping groups with me as I had to go in inters as fast was full he wanted Mick(instructor) to follow him round to help with a few things so he dropped to inters . And he got knee touchdown onwards and upwards now J you be wearing those knee pads out every few weeks now . Some quick lads there today including Conor Cummings and I managed to stay with him for a bit think he must of been taking it easy got 1.50 today so chuffed with that been my fastest lap there aiming for 1.49 next Scooby came out of retirement and was good to see him back on track . The Air ambulance came today for some lad who came off so hope he is ok it's never nice to see that and does make you question yourself sometimes why are you doing such a dangerous sport but as we all know it's just in the blood and nothing we can do about it. Next time on track is with Jimbo week on Friday at Sneterton as we are Raaaaaaaaacing .
Yes a good day weather wise although I wasn't 'feeling it' today for some reason! Made no odds as I managed to keep my Pegs off the deck today for the most part and swapped to knee sliders! Had a sesh with the Mick the NL Instructor who said I'm doing everything right but I just need to 'Climb off' more no matter how Alien it feels! Gota another Vid uploading but it'll be midnight I reckon before it's snailed it's way to Youtube. Scooby certainly can shift on the Beemer I can tell ya! What Jase modestly didn't mention was that he beat his best time to date which was set on Slicks on treaded Racetecs!
Nice vid as always J. Imo Not quite as you say same old though? From what i can see from your last session, Your getting round Shell Oils about 6/8 mph quicker
