    OK,

So I've never bought R&G gear, but my 2010 blade came from the PO covered in it.
I needed to remove the plastic tail tidy to effect a repair after a low speed off ..

Its f_cked .. rusty crap quality steel bolts holding on LED plate light-unremoveable rusted seized solid .. great place for steel bolts NOT .. cracked plastic ..

And I am just stood here holding this christmas cracker sh_t thinking .. £90 for this? Are they f_cking mad?

Going to knock one up in ally ...**** em ..

Their prices need to come down .. I reckon the MD got of fleet of nice cars and bikes on us poor sods ..

Saying that .. has anyone seen any tail tidy's number plate brackets / fender eliminators that aren't nearing a £100? Before I spend all day making one ..

Never had a problem with them myself ,used loads of times ,I am sure if you take it up with them they will exchange or give you a full refund.i am sure you can use a couple of angle brackets out of your local b and q but as you put it will look shite, worth a 100 quid

Assembling bolts/nuts without grease or copperslip is in my opinion bad engineering practice. Even non steel bolts can corrode or "pick up" especially stainless steel items, so a little care and forethought never goes amiss. Obviously in my opinion :)

R& G supply customer service no chance....as the OP has, my Blade came looking like an R & G moving billboard, first the tail tidy cracked on the side of the frame, less than 2 years old.....R&G...ahhh yes we have modfied that part £40 to you as it is quite old now, yeah 2 years is like ancient I guess!!! Pay that or £90... paid the £40 for a £2 piece of stamped alloy...the new one arrives totally redesigned to get rid of the weak point...so we pay for their shite design and lack of R&D.

Next..the numberplate leds burn out....do me a favour leds last donkeys years...R&G...ohh that will be £15, but I will reduce the postage as you have just had to buy a new frame.....so that passes for good customer service and standing by the product... full retail price on a shite quality part but hey I will knock off 50p on the postage,

And yep poor quality bolts and fasteners, in an area that takes major crud.

    R&G bunch of w**kers IMO.

Its a mixed bag to be honest, you know my thoughts on the frame protectors/crash bungs which are not good at all, but some of the stuff like fork/spindle protectors are pretty good. I'll admit, I have an r&g tail tidy too and fasteners rusted to bits in just a few thousand miles. Not good.

One of my R&G crash bings just fell off , after being on for 5 years and never used. Emailed R&G, but they never replied. Won't buy anything else off em and I make all my own brackets outta stainless anyway. !!!

I do like that tail tidy that comes with the tail light. Has anyone bought that one?

That one half way down the tail would suck for uk plates
