After nearly dropping my rr7 twice within the last week trying to get it on and off the rear paddock stand i decided to invest in an abba superbike stand.
Figured paying £100 for a stand is better than paying a few hundred quid to repair damage.
Stand ordered late monday afternoon and arrived 10am this morning.
Will try it tomorrow as i want engine cleaned prior to applying acf50.

    They are grrrrreeaaaattttt

Love mine, means you can raise the bike off the suspension which is handy for shock swaps. Dont buy the front raising thing, just use a sissor jack on the headers works just as well if not better!!

I couldn't get the front of my RR5 up in the air on the ABBA stand so I bought a headstock stand too. May use both over winter next year to keep the suspension uncompressed in storage.

On the abba stand, if you want the front end up, get the Mrs to sit on back end :D

+1 for an Abba stand from me...very easy to use and never feels like the bike is likely to tip over when putting it on or taking it off.

I would recommend taping the frame inserts into the stand though, i'd only had my stand for a couple of days when i took the bike out for a spin in the dark and didn't see that one of the inserts had been left in the frame...i only found out when i went to put the stand back on and of course the insert had dropped out of the frame during the ride!

I've lost an adapter the same way. Am thinking about if I can drill and tap a hole so I can fit a grub screw. Quality bit of kit though, had mine for about 5 years and use it all the time. Especially good over the winter to store the bike with the suspension unloaded.

Finally got round to using abba stand today,a week later than what i had planned to.
What an excellent bit of kit.Wish i had got one years ago instead of doing the balancing bike act with the rear paddock stand.
