Hi folks. This is my HRC RR7 fresh from taking of the stomp grip pads on the tank and a wash and polish. Had the bike about 6 weeks now. Done an oil and filter change as well as new chain and sprockets. All I need now is the rain to bugger of and hopefully I'm set for a very happy summer.

I have the standard red, silver and blue RR5 but I absolutely love the look of the Repsols. So much so I think at the end of April I'm buying the fairing kit (obviously not OEM as Honda would probably charge more than the bike is worth). I'll let you know how I get in with fitting etc.

I've heard they're well made and fit well...
On mine (oem) the tail unit is fiddly as f*ck and I've seen mates snap their upper side fairing lugs after a coolant change etc.
My wheels have been refurbished twice due to polishing thru the paint  and the first time the match wasn't great. Ended up being done KTM orange!!! Just in case u wanna go the whole hog lol.

Now that's nice. Was thinking of leaving the wheels black with some orange rim tape as I've seen some other pics of this and it looks nice. Plus if I sell the bike it can be out back to standard easily enough.

Know what you mean about the fairings. For the 04-07 they're supposed to be a lot easier to fit, fingers crossed.

Yes I am the Neverlands ones. Supposed to be the same thickness as the OEM ones so I'll keep you updated.

Tail is really easy now I have found an easy way.
Hook one side on and stretch too other side (takes about 5 secs) no more cringing!
Obviously do the oposite to take off

I just replaced a Chinese rear fairing with an OEM one. The OEM is a lot more flexible and easier to fit/remove.

That's weird, I heard the Chinese ones were more flexible??

I've just taken my Chinky" tail unit off and replaced it with a OE....only just done it and I can defo say the OE is more "Plyable" than the thin fiberglass chinky one. I bought a chinky one last year, had it painted, then stickers and then fitted it........overall cost.....I might as well of paid the extra and fitted a OE one.

I think there is a difference in quality, decals, clear coating etc depending on which supplier you use. Hopefully the ones I'm getting are fully decal'd up with two layers of clear coat on top.

No I'm sure they're not Simon, if they were I wouldn't be wasting my money.
