The chinese ones are not normally fiberglass, they are normally ABS plastic, same OEM now my race fairing is fibreglass, and its a sod to get the tail fairing on, as its very stiff indeed
Sorry fella.......................it looks like fiberglass, it smells like fiberglass resin . Perhaps the really cheapo ones are/were fiberglass?. It came as a set pre painted with lacquered over stickers .
it fits well everything lines up as it should and its abs not fibrglass and in all honesty if it was honda colours you wouldnt know im getting the repsol fairing soon its cheap enough
They tend too do the repsols with black paint instead of the metallic blue so you would notice that one but considering the whole kit costs nearly what I paid for my nose cone, you can't go wrong!
yes thats rite martin but the black looks pretty good plus they could do with a bit more clear lacquer on them the next set im going to get them lacquered again
Yeah I'm tempted to get them clear coated before I put them on. Either that or I'll get venture strips to put on the areas that get stone chips etc.
Just a few pics of the bike now that the lower fairings have been re-sprayed gloss black and the decals removed. I have removed the Puig hugger and replaced it with the stock one which I have also had painted gloss black. The stock one is a bit smaller, the Puig one also had some metal on it, I think I prefer the all black look......no surprise there. I realised when looking at the pics how much the dirty white number plate looks cr*p, must try to get one with a black reverse side. Would love a small one but daren't here as I get stopped too often.
Looking good exfire, bloke at my local market does ones with black plastic backing, got one for mine last year. If you have trouble getting one let me know and I will get one done and post it up to you

You've got some lovely bits on that bike i see expire !! Perfect colour, brembos, ohlins, showa's, sexy rearsets, wheels... hmmm, very nice nice !! What power mods have you done ? What zorst is that ? What mirrors are they ? How do they get crumpets to look like they do ? Questions questions questions....
I'd guess that's an arata exhaust? Seen them on a fair few bikes when I've been over in the states on holiday Crumpets have holes because there is additional use of yeast in the dough
