The SP was the quicker but only because it's running Ohlins all round compared to the stock ZX Sussies which overheated badly at the rear after 4-5 laps, plus the ZX comes with shyte OEM spec Bridgestone S20's which are no match for the SP's Pirelli Supercorsa's. Lob some Ohlins and decent tyres on the ZX and things for sure would be different by the sounds of it! Both Bikes are ABS and no problems were reported on Track!
I can say that richieriches sp certainly gave a good account of itself at Raf valley track day against stiff opposition (panigale and lots of mean track weapons / racebikes) in both monsoon and dry conditions. When parked next to my rr8 you can see there are loads of subtle mods. Let alone the interiors
I would have thought the Blade would have been more refined and less twitchy than the kwak but not as fast, I've seen some vids of the 2010 ZX10R and the bike looks like a total animal, didnt they tame it a bit after that because people were scared to ride it?.
