Hah! What do I know. An emphatic 4-0 victory for the reds. Fantastic performance by the team and the fans. It's been some time since we generated such an atmosphere. The 2005 Europeans Champion League semi-final second leg versus Chelsea springs to mind. Hope it came across loud and clear on the TV. Not sure if it was shown on TV but the roar of appreciation from the crowd when the players embraced one another and acknowledged the fans support at the end of the match was deafening. Massive 3 points for us today. Awesome first half performance by the reds but fair play to City for getting themselves back into it after the break. At 2-2 I always thought that a moment of brilliance or an error would probably split the teams and an error by Kompany and a tidy finish from Coutinho gave us an invaluable victory. I know its a cliché but 4 x more cup finals to go now. It's in our hands. Grasp the moment redmen.
