hm quickshifter stopped working

    after winter lay up my quickshifter has stopped working, is there anything simple i can check (fuse etc)

    Which is not working LCD? Shifter

    its the shifter, it doesn't seem to cut the ignition.

    Have u tried re setting it ,maybe had battery off?

    If you pull the gear lever with the ignition on does the display show SHIFT, if not increase the sensitivity to 100% and try it again, If it still does not show shift then you have a problem, if it does show SHIFT then you can sit on the bike, engine running, clutch in, shift into second, then through to sixth, then try shifting into an imaginary seventh gear, you should hear it cut the engine each time you try and shift (listen carefully as the kill is very short), if this is the case then it's working if not and it shows SHIFT then again you have a problem.

    thanks guys, i spoke to the guy who fitted the quickshifter today he thinks the battery may have been discharged and it has lost the base settings. gonna pop up next week and have it re-calibrated.
