The OE tyres are crap and also worn. Need to change them and also try reducing comp & rebound damping settings a small amount at a time until it feels "soft" enough for your preference.

If that fails just put pressure on the pegs and absorb the bumps through your legs ;)

    Hi JM1
Have backed some of the compression off and things are a a lot better,I guess the ride can't be perfectly smooth it's a sports bike after all.what sort of tyres do you recommend and are the 015s really that crap I thought Bridgestone were good tyres or is just that particular make.
    Anyway thanks for the advice
    Cheers Stu

Hi mate, the OE tyres fitted to these bikes are different spec to the tyres you buy from a dealer so you will probably find that even if you buy the same tyres they feel different/better

    Hi JM1
Thanks for the reply m8,in what way are they a different spec to what you buy from the dealers even if the same brand.
What tyres would you recommend .
What I like about the blade compared to my old bike,is you don't have to wring its neck to make any progress no matter what gear your in.Well chuffed now I'm getting used to it.
    Cheers Stu

I'm on my second set of Bridgestone S20s - no complaints with the handling on the road. They really grip and have good feedback - good for about 5K on the rear if you're not into leaving black lines on the road. You will be hard pressed to find much wrong with most brands for road use. Check out some tyre reviews on the web.
    Good luck - Steve

Could the rear shock be cooked? Keep reading how the underslung exhaust cooks the shock but have never read any complaints on here about that?

    Hi
Wouldn't have thought the shock would be knackered, bikes only just done 3 thou.
Will read the reviews on various tyres and make my choice from there.
    Thanks again
    Stu

Wouldn't have ruled it out. A mate's VFR had 2 new rear shocks within first month of ownership
