I like a slightly smaller numberplate. I like a pipe. I like a taily tidy. I'll generally take the rear pegs off. I like braided brake lines (assuming I can bleed them properly without having someone hold my hand [IMG])

Lastly. Having had a proper suspension setup done by someone who knows their sh*t I wouldn't even consider owning a bike without getting it down now.

Aside from that lot I can't be arsed with anything else.

the only reason bikes have the horrendous original number plate holder or an add on mudguard like bmw trails is that there must be something that protrudes behind the rear of the tyre .

Along with choosing a bike that meets most bikers needs is one that is sexy or at least pleasing to the eye......I can't honestly say I've ever seen a bike that wasn't improved immensely by tidying the rear end up!

I thought the horrendous plate hanger was down to the law stating they the number plate had to be at the very rear of the bike.

It's the very first mod to do IMO. Wouldn't even ride out the showroom with stock hanger....

As for other mods - can take them or leave them. But you always spend longer looking at bikes that have had stuff done, good or bad - makes it interesting imo

I like mini-indicators.. I can't understand WTF they put this huge horrendous things on the bikes from the factory...

The big tall screens... or even double bubble.. I hate them. Damn, I don't get buffering from my standard one at speed. WTF are you lot who have them doing? Sitting up straight? It's a super-sports bike FFS!.

Most of the plastics let alone carbon bling on blades are Ill fitting, thus **** and thus chavy!
And Hondas are supposed to be well finished FFS! They all need moding fettling and re mounting in a more secure manner if they are removed repeatedley.
FAIRING SCREWS IN MILD STEEL GALV......FFS.
    Mods each to there own.
Build quality is not what its made out to be and defo not what it should be.

Oooh!! A can of worms anyone or maybe a hornets nest? ;) I have two of your nasties mate ;) but hey I wouldn't kick you my Xmas card list for saying what you don't like ;) I think somethings can and do look gawdy!
I met a guy last year with exact same bike as mine but I was shocked at what he'd done  he covered the whole of the gorgeous candy blue on the nose cone with the white racing flashes and when he got his Leo Vince can he polished out the cool IMO gold tinge and heated coloured weldings  so it looked like somethin' out of Nana's best Silver drawer! But it didn't offend!... It's was different and it made my bike look better ;)
It's cars that I find offensive the low rider gangsta look Corsa with the baseball cap and the worst of all THE BLACK BONNET OR THE DREADED BONNET BRA! Aaaarrrgh!
I've seen brand new cars, cracking looking cars with the Black replacement bonnet! The shite Fast'n'Furious films are to blame! Get over it!.................... See you've got me started now!

Cause most of them look like stick insects that look like they'll snap in a high wind? They can ride, but lets be honest... A front-rower they're not...

I wouldn't exactly call myself a stick insect but love my double double bubble screen!!

Jumped on the r1 today (standard screen) and thought I was on a naked lol... Guess you just need to turn that thing on the right to appreciate it a little more ;)

What the feck are you on about ?!

Im a big bastad and embrace something that helps to streamline me up and stop some of the buffeting...

I take it your either not hitting the high speeds or you're small enough to slip through the air like a greased weasel for streamlining not to be an issue for you !!

OK... So what speed do you consider to be too much buffeting with the standard screen?

Anything over 140 will get the head buzzing enough for everything to go blurry !
