I'm selling my Maxton kitted forks from the 04-07 CBR1000RR. Forks cost me £300 the another £120 to have them serviced by Belfast Honda (new oil, seals and bushes), just looking back that I paid for the forks - £300 Fitted to the bike,
i ran the same system on my RR7 Racer, but i couldnt get it to run right with the kit ecu and meyhew head. lost 11bhp in the mid, changed to decat standard RR4 headers with custom Blue Flame can & pipe. awaiting a full akra currently
What power were you getting from the system? Mine's putting out 160 on a DynoJet drum (although I do know they all make different figure depending on the dyno)
at the time i had 164 at the top, but the mid was horrendous, all the way to just over 9k, with current set up ive got 173 (but thats with meyhew blueprint, kit ecu) i expect 180 with full system and current mods.
How long have you had the forks bud? And what spring rating are the set up with, Being an 11 stone wet fart arse, I cant have anything too stiff!! on the bike I mean!!!! before anyone says anything there. lol
I bought them last year. They came from the Maxxis superstock bike. No idea what the spring rating is, but I can tell you, the forks compliment the Ohlins shock perfectly. I usually ride with a firmly set suspension, but when it's slacked off it's pretty soft.
I might be intersted in them mate, was seriously contemplating taking the bike to maxton, as it's not that far away as you know, and getting them to set up for me. But, could be even better this way? PM on it's way.
