RAF Valley Charity Track day with photo's taken by alexjamesphoto.com One off done by Alex because he just loved the bike so much. A very wet Saturday morning with much bum twitching :-( Putting the girl through her paces or was it the other way around!!! Maximum concentration and target lock on next corner
Put Michelin Pilot Power 3's on, full wet's not an option as I was riding to and from there both days. Performed great once things dried a little and I moved to the fast group, in fact some guy on a Ducati Panigale 1199 came up to my brother and asked him what mod/tuning I'd done to the engine as I keep leaving him behind, I'd buggered off to the toilets. Next one is in July 12th/13th you coming?
That SP is simply stunning - I feel a complete wimp now for bailing on Sunday at 10:00 and never getting on track on the Saturday The photos are incredible - that clarity in that final shot is amazing, each stitch clearly visible - def one to frame up
I have to concur they're Arthur but there Power Pilot 3's, however I nearly put the Power Pilot Supersports on but didn't think they'd be as good as the PP3's in the wet.
Did you notice Al how clean my leathers were? Well that's from riding in the rain the pervious day, top tip that you know, however the black dye on my arms is proving a little stubborn to get off :-(
Stunning mate.. Simply stunning .. Hopefully be with you at oulton on the road bike only day. What a beautiful machine
Cheers Daz I hope you can make it too to Oulton. I cannot recommend highly enough the Power Pilot 3's superb tyre Daz with good feedback/grip and as you can see in the second picture good in the wet too.
Honda UK should be asking to use those pictures - show's the bikes real world ability to ride to a track and perform faultlessly while looking a million dollars - the pic of it on the stand is as good if not better than any of the official pictures, but guess the tail tidy helps there
Steve has loads of his bike - bit of an in joke there - Also I was sold a pair of wet wheels for The Fridge but the rear never fitted it
It's an in-joke Ritch, I have three sets of wheels for my track bike so I can use intermediates for a drying track.
