Google Nexus - for Maps

    Thinking of using the nexus as a tom tom on the phone - ram mount \ holders have been ordered..

    how easy is it get maps working without data usage? i heard tom tom is rubbish on the nexus?

    All the decent satnavs download the maps to the phone so will take up between 1-2gb of memory so no data costs unless to get updates, have read though that Tom Tom doesn't work that great on android phones, so could be a costly

    Have a look at navFREE I think it's pretty good and you just download the region/country that you want and the clue is in the name it's free

    Can U get a waterproof Nexus ram mount casing then?
