I don't think your legally aloud to display a blue light unless your an emergency service, (so for show use only) ! The red ones they do are also a nick because your not allowed any forward facing front red lights, which is a shame as they would look evil on mine (but like i said, for show use only) !!
Absolutely love the Angel eye upgrade. Although I'd be happy with just both headlights being active at low beam on my 7rr.
Mate of mine at work just had the red ones of these put on his R6. I said the same thing about the Red Lights at the front but he called his MOT test center and they said it wouldn't be a problem at all. Apparently thanks to Audi introducing a similar thing on their S1 cars they have just made VOSA change the ruling about these so they will be nice and legal...
I am truly shocked and stunned ! I know it was definitely illegal but if for some crazy reason they have changed it I'm well happy and will most certainly be putting them on mine ! I will be double checking that with vosa tho first !!
Yeah worth a shout dude but that was what I was told. Apparently Car manufacturers hold a lot of sway when it comes to VOSA as apparently when HID's first came out they were an instant fail until Mercedes and Audi started fitting them as standard to their cars then VOSA changed the rules to allow them...
Yea I would agree the amount of blue lights I see in cars gets on my nerves it might look cool, but its for no other reason and makes people think plod are behind them.
It doesn't look 'Cool' at all IMHO! It just makes the owner/driver look like a Prize Prick / 'Boy Racer'!
To be honest with you cool isn't a word I use when I am being serious its a word when I am being sarcastic . Just like nob lamps...sorry I meant fog lamps on when its not foggy just make the driver look like a chav prat
