The instructions that came with it were rubbish (partly cos they were in italian and partly cos the photocopied pictures were shite).
Thanks to Si for helping out fathom it all out.

That does look lush ! Do you retain much space in the tail area for pcv, tools etc ?

The space is less, but you could just about squeeze the tool kit and a PCV in there I think. Especially if you haven't got the pillion seat on.

I am .... very, now it's on. Was more of a struggle than I expected (as you know lol)

Now it's just if I stick with that hugger or go for a more minimalist approach?

I think it looks good with the hugger...

What i would do though, personally, is change the indicators to clear lens ones, finish it off nicely.

I will do. I had to buy something sharp-ish to get it all fitted up. I had to mod the plate hanger extensively, so I threw those on to get it done. Now I have it all together I'll look for some nice clear LED ones :)

The number plate light is built into the rear light mate. There's 3 LED's pointing down illuminating the plate. Good design and you don't need a separate plate light.

    Looks very nice indeed!

Is that the same rear light, or is it just pushed in a bit?

I thought at first that was the original light, hence my question mate.
    That is really smart.

Hi guys. It was from De Pretto Moto in Italy (hence the Italian instructions).
I think it was about £170 shipped, but I can dig out my receipt. Obviously it was in Euro's, so I'd need to do a quick conversion.

The light comes with the kit, and as Si says, the number plate light is in the unit.

The number plate hanger that comes with it though is mahoosive, so you'll need a grinder to get it anywhere near a reasonable size.

Jonny, Is that what you ment by extensive mods to the plate, grinding the number plate holder to fit or was there more to it ?

Pretty much, yes. The plate is a funny shape, so it took a bit of head scratching to get the shape right and retain the indicator mounts.
If you are more handy than me, you may find it easy. I'm OK when I can follow instructions or copy something, but when I have to figure it out for myself I'm not so good lol

Yeah, it's inbuilt to the tail light. If you wanted to retain the original, you probably could, but I'm sure it wouldn't look as minimalist

Did you have to do much splicing into other wires or does it come with a connector block?
