rab it has nothing to do with the quickshifter, ive had them all over the years and very much believe the HM to be the cream off the crop.... I was having these same issues long before i put a qs on missed gears and false neutrals....

Strange then- I did have similar issues when I first fitted rearsets with exactly the same settings on the QS, had to adjust the settings and the way I rode to resolve.

Only two days ago I altered the angle of the shift lever again as I still find changing upwards I get a false neutral regularly!

It's now too high having gone round another spline on the output shaft! :(

Will have to live with it I spose as I aint forkin' out over £400 for the only rearsets that'll fit without messing with the brake line.

It isn't me as the ZX10 with a Quickshifter is spot on but does run Bonmici Rearsets.

Like you Jay i kept moving the angle of the gear peg upward, believing that there was a chance my foot was stopping the gear peg from returning to its original position before each shift. Im now convinced this wasn't happening and the fault lies with me not kicking the gear peg firm enough. The problem ive found is that the more i change the angle upward my foot has a harder time reaching it to give it a firm tap so im now in the process of returning it down.. I have always ridden with my toes on the pegs so i know for sure it isn't my foot stopping the gear peg from returning to its original position.....

Its all a bit weird if you ask me, in over 20 years and countless bikes ive never had this kind of issue, ever....

    Yes Graeme!

Bonamici list a set for the 08-13 Blade on their website but makes no mention of the ABS model.

Demon Tweeks's site states point blank that Bonamici don't even do a set for the Blade!

I've never had so much feckin trouble sourcing info for something that should be so simple!

I love the look of the Giles AS31GT Rearsets but don't like the more expensive Cam mechanism VCR sets they do! :(

Guys don't want to teach you lot to suck eggs but you can adjust the gear shaft to alter the angle of the gear lever just undo the 2 locking nuts top and bottom and rotate the shaft

I'm running a HM QS+ with Giles AS31GT Rearsets (prefer the mechanical engineering look to the posh cam look) The up shift is really nice, just a nudge on the gear change and the gear is selected. I thought I would need to give it some effort to get a gear but no nice and easy. The one thing I have noticed is, the Giles flex more than I thought they would?

    What Bike Bryan?

Yes Graeme it does come with a switch, but they're fitted to the ZX10 so no need for things like brake lights or clutch switches!

    Non ABS though?

Would be very interesting to meet up to be honest and actually see in the flesh why the AS31's won't fit an ABS?
