I had a need to use my brakes today from about 70mph to zero, I thought my goose had been cooked, I just slammed on the brakes to slow me down to reduce the impact and the bike just stopped I was astonished, yes I thought I had tried out my brakes in case of an emergency but in this emergency situation I am so glad I bought ABS, I am sure they saved the bike from being damaged.

Mr Honda 10 out of 10 thanks.

Best brakes I tried were on a Ducati Diavel.

    Just my opinion.

Opinion is a subjective belief, and is the result of emotion or interpretation of facts. An opinion may be supported by an argument, although people may draw opposing opinions from the same set of facts. Opinions rarely change without new arguments being presented. However, it can be reasoned that one opinion is better supported by the facts than another by analysing the supporting arguments. In casual use, the term opinion may be the result of a person's perspective, understanding, particular feelings, beliefs, and desires. It may refer to unsubstantiated information, in contrast to knowledge and fact-based beliefs. WTF

Excellent point if a little light weight in substance. LOL.

The Brembos on the Ducati were fantastic. They stopped the wheels virtually instantly.

And that was when the trouble started......

Nice to see pal, well done, i think any blade i get will have ABS, i don't ride all year round now, but i will be using the bike to get to work over winter when the rain etc stays away, but the roads will still be slippy etc. And any panic brake is just that, a blind panic and then all the training and thoughts on pulling the lever correctly can be gone in an instant.
