It's just a No-Limits track day Gary, I might pop up for the ride too? they still have some spaces at £129, but not got time tomorrow for me so a ride up and watch for a bit is all i can muster lol Simon
Priced a bit high there, but probably due to the bank holiday. I'm itching to get back out as i just got back from holibobs and all i can hear round my way is bikes. The closest i got today was moving the track bike to get the lawnmower out. Anyone wanna pick a time and place?
I'll be working in Aberdeen, but it shows the difference, pay an extra 40 quid or take the day off work.
was great weather for a track day, wish i had had the time, me and Carl did take a ride out there earlier but didn't see anyone we knew
Yeah for once weather forecast was correct, rain at 4pm, just as I got my bike in the garage lol We got there around 12:30pm
Yes it is here is the thread about it http://1000rr.co.uk/mods-upgrades-accessories-products/17151.htm
Not jealous, I don't regret taking the kids to see the Muppets movie and missing the last good biking day for a while
Was the youngest's birthday treat so was unavoidable. Can't complain too much as they all came to Blyton on Friday.
It's pretty good. It's not as technical as Cadwell or Donnington and is primarily used by Cars but the surface is good and there are plenty of run off areas. The only downside is that there is only 1 -2 right handers, wiggler and ushers, and so you have to be a bit careful on them at times as that side of the tyre can get a bit cold. Bunga-Bunga is a double apex which confuses some people but overall I like it. Food and drink is OK, a little pricey but then that is probably true at all tracks, and they don't have a fuel pump there. Noise control is pretty lax. I run there without the baffle in my Akra and never had any problems. Overall I like it but it's not the sort of track you would return to ad-nauseum because as I said it isn't overly technical and you would probably get bored with it. It is however normally a pretty cheap track for a trackday, it's friendly, and as the lot I use for lessons/training use it I will be back there for another 5 visits this year.
No power and no garages, although they do have a large barn type thing but not sure if it is for public use.
