anyone got the sport pack o their bike?
I am getting a new bike and will buy the sport pack, but dont know if i am going to keep the Akro or put my Yoshi R77 on.
The first problem is it doesnt have the heat shield like the Yoshi.
How does the sound compare between the two?

dont know about the sheild, but the akra will produce better figures and a picky honda dealer couldnt refuse any warranty claim for having one on, unlike a yoshi...

    Both good pipes mate

Do you have to have the Akro with sports cat and Flap valve thing like they normally supply or can you choose the race version ?

Will take the removable baffle out and report back it's very very well made, better quality than the Yoshi I had on my 600RR.

Its not the race system that comes with the sports pack, its the road legal one. Still be interested to hear it though.

The only difference is the link pipe the cans are the same. Don't think there Is a big difference in sound or power over the two

No mate .. its an ex BSB system from an HM Plant bike

seems to rev quicker with it fitted .. but that's just a subjective opinion .. not had it on the dyno yet

it will rev a lot more freely than the road derived system, the lengths HM wwent to get the perfect system was astonishing, including driving one of the bikes over to the Akra factory for a week of design & dyno testing

A mate bought one from chris matthews (moto 46, he buys all of HM Plants road gear & used race parts) and back to backed it with his akra road system, 8bhp more & no holes in the power.
