I went from passing my test on a Honda MTX80 Trial Bike straight on to a CBR900RR Fireblade back in 1993.

Road it for 2 years without binning it and then sold it to buy a house with Wifey No' 1

Didn't ride another Bike right up until March 2013 when I bought another new Blade.

12 months later and numerous Track Days on a ZX10R it's all still 'Shinny side up'!

(Kiss of Death that now!)

Got to be done though unfortunately.

I was finding the majority of bikes for sale on eBay, mcn and biketrader. All the others (preloved, gumtree and swapz) were only getting the odd one.
Can I suggest if you find one that you get a deposit down really quick as it seemed every time I phoned about one it was sale agreed. In the end I put a £50 deposit and figured if it's not what I want when I see it, then I'll only lose £50, I'd rather that than keep missing out and be without a bike for weeks.

    Even better matey!

You get the snazzy digital dash, BPF Forks, uprated rear shock, lighter blinger wheels, plus a nicer styled fairing!

    Tiz all good!

(Better Oil consumption too! ;-) )

I heard the wheels are actually heavier, I think it was wedgie that weighed them but they do look better

Wednesday 14 May ferry from Holyhead (10.30am) to Dun Laoghaire (12.45pm).

First night in Galway at the Jury's Inn on Quay Street.

From there we will ride down the west coast to Kilrush, over the estuary on the Tarbet ferry and then on to Killarney and then east to Cork for our second night staying at the usual Jury's in on Anderson's Quay.

The third night we are booked into a hotel in Waterford called the Fitzwilton on Bridge street.

From here we're heading to Dublin for our last night, and I'm hoping that as it's not far from Waterford we can get there at lunchtime(ish) and maybe have a mooch around the Guinness brewery before the evening shenanigans begin,

The ferry back on Sunday departs from Dun Laoghaire at a hangover friendly 1.30pm and we get into Holyhead at 3.45pm.
