Been out for a blast on my RD 250 LC today . Quiet nice to hear the Micron expansion chambers crackling with blue smoke Lol !!! . Have not started it for 18 months ! Lots slower than the Blade but just as much fun !
A Few LC Pics . We all need to ride these old bikes to realise how good our blades are ! My LC does not have much power untill 6 thousand revs then the power delivery is like a switch an goes a bit mad ! Good fun but you have to keep it in the powerband. Pretty crap brake too with its single piston sliding front caliper Lol !!
Don't really like cars rich918 just work on them. My thing is motorbikes, mountain bikes an snowboards.
Looks great. I had an X reg 250LC back in 1982. I would love to ride one again to to remember how it was.
Fantastic bike and restoration a credit to you, I guess I have a few more years to catch up and become a classic
Will never sell my LC. Just go for a couple of rides a year an start it now an again . When I brought it It was in boxes in bits in 2006 , Restored it in 18 months . I used to have Bob Farnhan tuned LC,s. an power valves in the 1980s.
I saw an RD 400 for sale over at gp performance next to the H cafe they want £4k for it, I can only see that price increasing. They also had an RG500 for sale £8995 and not even showroom condition
