F1reblade - one of the mounts on the nose section was too thick for the little threaded lug to push over, was too much lacquer build-up in the inside of the mount so I just "sanded" the excess lacquer off with the dremmel I have. really was a 30 second job, nothing anyone wouldn't have managed with a stanley blade and a little patience. I guess with all these "after market" fairing kits there is always going to be a little titivating to get it to your own standards..
Was out in the garage for a little bit tonight.. man those fairings look amazing.. pics to follow tomorrow
Well.. so much for an hour fitting haha.. Managed to break off one of the lugs trying to fit the front left fairing, so araldite applied last night and seems to have sorted it. Fairing fit is probably about 6-7/10. The finish is nothing but a work of art, but I guess fit wise your never going to get OEM millimetre fit from aftermarket fairings. Overall, super chuffed with how it turned out, although taking photo's at dusk will not likely look as good as a sunny day! A few photos:
after the new screen and fairings on, realise I need new fairing bolts now haha.. its NEVER ENDING!!!! aggrhh hahaha
