    I think it's the other way round ! SC Project have been involved with Moto GP for some time and do a lot of testing on their products (like Akrapovic) racefit maybe the ones doing the copying?

    All good products anyway!

    I didnt know that, however the welds in the pipe is what makes it look cheaper to me. with the racefit its one piece of tubular metal bent to shape. personal preference I guess.

    The reasons for the welds are, the link pipe is conical and increases in size from 52mm up to 62mm costs more to manufacture.

    As you say it's down to personal preference, the clean lines of the racefit or the engineered look of the SC Project. The other difference is the SC has a slip on end can.
