Do u not lose rear end grip when fitting these though. It's the only complaint my mate had when fitting them. Having said that it was for an off road bike so maybe it'll act different.
The seat feels a little low thats all . Its not enough of a problem to pay what sellers want for ride height changing links but i would defiantly like to try a set to see if its a better position . Rear sets have helped a lot thou
Well I ain't goin to argue with them As I said I can only go with what my mate said about his. They might even be the same as it was a Honda. Are they made of stainless or are they ally?
The guards look absolutely stunning Colin and if they are better in the flesh they must be awesome. I can't wait to get mine mate. Really big thanks for all your hard efforts on this one but it definitely has been worth it and is very much appreciated. I don't want to sound cheeky or pushy in anyway but if you are considering making the linkage I would be very interested. As soon as I see the PM I will make my payment asap, and once again a huge thanks the guards are stunning !!!!!!!!!!!
6ft .. Its because I'm jumping from a motocross bike to the blade all the time . Im used to being on my tip toes on the CRF and its a bit of a drop jumping on the blade Have you ever rode an R6 ( 08+ )? I want it like that . R6's have a really aggressive riding position , Your right over the front compared to the blade where your sat over the middle . Im hoping bringing the seat up a little will have a similar affect as putting lower race bars on but obviously not losing clearance of the fairing Am i right in thinking it will do that craig ?
Morning Dan I see your bright and early again !!!! I need some of what your getting mate I really do, ha ha LOL !!! In answer to your question yes the effect you want will be helped by raising the rear but hopefully without telling you something you may already know the primary reason the link is made is to alter the geometry of the bike to make it turn quicker, which in many situations is a positive but you can go too far and make the bike flightly and less stable. Basically the quicker the steering the less stable the bike will become like most things in life you can't have your cake and eat it unfortunately. Hope the explanation helps.
Guards look fantastic colin, yer a star, cash waiting buddy whichever way you want paying for these blintastic bits of kit many thanks Bob
